What Makes CIA so Different?
CIA has installed and maintained thousands of security systems throughout the South. Our professionalism and expertise goes without saying and, like others, this is backed up by our many accreditations and awards.
What makes us different is that we constantly invest in the company to make sure that our customers are always satisfied, and that we thrive and grow.
This investment takes many forms – the most obvious is in the products we use. Unlike many security companies, we have our own research and development department which ensures that our equipment exceeds minimum quality standards (we never use cheap imports), delivers long term reliability and, because it can be upgraded, our systems are future proofed.
We also invest in the latest technology – like paperless billing, powerful Customer Management Relationship software, smart phones, GPS and fuel efficient cars – to make us more effective. These efficiencies enable us to deliver a better customer experience and, by keeping our overheads down, they help us to maintain our prices.
We firmly believe that our success depends on a committed and fulfilled workforce so we believe our most valuable investment is in our staff.
Firstly, we are committed to training. Our apprentices undergo a three year apprenticeship with day release at college and, as part of our quality system, every single employee has a personal training plan giving them the opportunity to add to and enhance their existing skills.
Secondly, we actively encourage them to progress through the company. Most of our Senior Management Team have come up through the ranks so not only do they have a strong engineering background, they know the company, its products and its ethos inside out.
Thirdly, we encourage staff to contribute to the community – for example, giving time off to fulfill the role of a school governor or to volunteer as a member of the West Sussex 4×4 Response Team which helps out the Emergency Services in times of crisis.
Consequently, our staff retention is exceptionally high, giving the company stability and continuity for our customers, many of whom are known to our staff personally.
And finally, we invest in the future of the security industry. Our Directors are actively involved in helping to shape its future by sitting on regional and national committees of the British Standards Institute, NSI, SSAIB, the ECA and the FSA. We also work closely with Chichester College who run the apprentice course, voluntary lecturing on the course and donating equipment for training purposes. Knowing what the future holds means that our customers are always at the cutting edge of progress.
Although the company now has over 200 employees – all of whom are Police checked which is beyond the NSI requirement (read more), we are committed to delivering a personal, first class service at every level. With our commitment to Customer Service and with engineers located throughout our working area, we can ensure a prompt response, whatever your requirements.
