Noticed our shiny new window vinyls?

October 3, 2011

If you live locally, you may have noticed our shiny new window vinyls when you drive past on the old A3.

CIA is well known for burglar alarms but perhaps less so for its other core disciplines of fire, CCTV and access control so we were looking for ways of getting the message out there.

One of our engineers suggested sponsoring a roundabout which seemed a good idea but then we couldn't decide where.  Should it be in Waterlooville or out in the region somewhere.  And if so, which part of the region - after all, we cover the whole of the south coast.   The debate raged for a day or two and came down in favour of Waterlooville.

At that point, I thought, "We've got a great big roadside shop front which we aren't really using to good effect and we'd get a lot more exposure from them than we would from a small sign on a roundabout," so we decided on the vinyls.

We've gone for big, simple images for each of the disciplines which we think look great and it's also freshened up the look of the building, too.   If you've seen them, let us know what you think.

Thanks for your suggestions. Using our own shop front to advertise seems common sense. It immediately reminds everyone of some of the products and services we provide. Not everybody naturally associates CIA with fire alarms, for example.

As far as advertising on buses, roundabouts and billboards - that is a good way of getting your name out there and may be a consideration for an investment in the future.

What we are investing in at the moment is our customer service programme and developing our website. By giving excellence in our Service and making our website become a helpful resource we are sure all our customers will spread the word.

In the meantime, thanks for reading our blog.

a good way of advertising but you could go on the sides of buses, roundabouts and maybe bill boards.
